I have a lot of experience shooting corporate and political events as well as parties and family celebrations. I have two approaches to photographing events. One is when I roam the space with a camera and capture both candid and posed images. The other is when I make the party come to me. Which means that, if the space permits it, I set up a little studio and let the guests get in front of the camera for a brief shoot. Think of it as a photo booth meets step-and-repeat with a fashion shoot flavor. I usually do either or, but under the right circumstances, both can be done for a single event. Also, a second photographer can be arranged.
